I have a Pye Television that needs repair. I have left it for several days from the last use and cut the mains plug off as a precaucion. What I cannot fathom out is how you get the control panel out of the casing for the set. I think - although I may be wrong - that there is an earthing problem with the brightness control and the volume control. It may be with the main chassis or it may be as expected: with the Controls Panel. Has anyone any ideas Please? The Philips chassis number is the Model C.T.X. which is for 14, 16 and 20 inch t.v.s.
