On occasion the tv will work with no problem, or it will work for a while and then stop, or (most often) not work at all.
Plug it in and turn on at the wall. Then turn on the power button underneath the unit next to the power cord.
Normally this would illuminate the stand by light red (goes blue when unit is operating), but it is flickering blue along with the white led for the 'on' indicator above the touch panel.
Also, every once in a while, all of the white led's above the touch panel (for 'source', 'menu', 'channel' and 'volume') will flicker on - this happens about once every minute or so.
Extra information - just background and mostly pointless.
This problem started about ten years ago, we had had the tv for about two to three years prior. Bought a new tv planning on getting this one fixed but forgot about it and it has been in storage (covered in plastic) ever since. We moved house recently and re-discovered it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
