Hi
I have a Haier LE50D3505 LCD TV which does not turn ON. I followed the steps in the service manual (found on this website) and ended at the point where they recommend a software update. I do not have these files and cannot find them anywhere on the web. Anyone here have the CVT_MSD3393.bin and/or CVT_MSD3393.tar files, or know where I can get them?

Thank you pumi. My TV behaves exactly as stated in point 1) of Dorkbytes' accompanying user notes. Looks like this could work but I have to be a registered user on that site to be allowed to download the utility. They don't offer an anonymous guest download such as that available on this website. I may resort to that if I can't find the binary elsewhere. Haier Canada support don't even cover TVs and do not offer an email address. So much for e-waste avoidance initiative but I guess they'd rather sell you another TV than help restore a faulty one.
