I'm trying to get my Father's old Sony CCD-F355E to work. It turns on and provides a Videosignal in "Camera" Mode but it's not able to record or play back the Video 8 cassette that is inserted. It prompts with "ejecting" the cassette symbol when I try to record or play back the cassette. It does eject the cassette properly and is able to load it again. Looking at the interior, 2 of the 6 tape coils seems to be bent, though I'm not sure, it is possible they are supposed to be in this position.
