Hi..in the above stated sony DAV-DZ370 dvd player there is problem of push power protect and by checking in service mode it shows SD detect we have have removed CXD of centre and both sub woofer then push power protect goes away so what could be the possible fault in this as s master is also new and replaced and all 3 cxd is also new .. so can you help me in this.. awaiting your reply

Hi,

I found a Sony HCD-DZ370's service manual. It might be same. SD detect is the s-master voltage descent under 15V (it must be 30V). If your amplifier hasn't got any short circuit, the error must be in the power supply. Probably one or more electrolytic capacitor have got big esr. If you have esr-meter check the capacitors, if you haven't you should change the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply for safety sake. If you're lucky, problem solved.
