Sony MDP-V1 Laserdisc player has no power. Standby light remains off. Replaced a few components on the main power board but still can't get any output voltage.
Any idea please? does anyone have a spare power board?
According to the schematic, REG +5V is required to turn on the Standby LED. I started with replacing the components in the path for +5V including MOSFETS (Q101, Q203 & Q204) and a couple of isolators (PC101 & PC102) but still no +5V output.
I have also checked all the diodes with my multimeter and they all seemed normal. No visual damage on the caps or circuit board.
I do not want to give up on this one so any suggestions will be really appreciated.

Thanks for pointing me to the service manual.
