I am in the process of attempting to repair my old Sony Cd/tape system. It was in a box for a number of years and when I attempted to power it up I forgot to take out the CD player travel locking bolts. Everything powers up but the CD player will not load and play disks. The main amplifier is working but no signal is getting from the tuner to the amplifier or from the aux input. I am guessing a fuse or power rail has been damaged on the control bus. I have downloaded all the service manuals thanks to this site but wondered if anyone has had experience repairing these Sony systems
