Sony str-dn840 shows protect and turns off

Hello i have a sony str dn840 it shorted a while age and bust a transistor mp 1620 32y 
I guess it was because or some water generated from heat it was actually not ia good ventilated area ...so i changed only the transistor and now it turn on proper but i shows protector after few seconds and then turn off ....what could be the problem guys
