Trying to fix this amp for my buddy. He said it had low gain and lots of hum. I opened it up and checked all of the caps. They were all well within value. Then I noticed two paralled resistors burned and cracked. They are brown probably wire wound 1-2 watt resistors. They are soldered in parallel to the PCB board not to the tubes. The burning has etched out the writing pretty much. One of them says possibly 1K. I don't see anything on the schematic that is available online with what I would guess are two resistors paralled into possibly 500 ohms. I will get a picture from him in a bit.
Thank you for any help you can provide. I have no problem replacing them if I know the right value. And if anyone is familiar with this amp is it a common problem?
