My tascam portastudio dp-006 took a gnarly fall in my garage. the headphone jack was pushed inside the device. the mic/line switch is barely attached. The display screen also has a small chip in it from the fall.
I can not get it to power on with batteries or the power supply.
Purchased earlier this year via amazon.
Do any real options or people exist who can actually repair or replace it?
Device is registered. And i don’t remember any warranty info.
Am i better off just buying a new one? or what?

sorry but there is no enough info about inside condition of this device. No general errors when something like this hit the concrete, even in tascam can't tell you nothing until they open it. I think nobody can help you at any forum. Best solution is to find some electronic service near by you. This case is not a warranty issue and don't waste your time about it
