Recently my Tecsun S-2000 Shortwave receiver has not been able to receive transmissions on the 3-30 MHz band. Usually, there are always conversations to be heard, Hams on 160 metres, 80 and 40 metres bands, Citizens Band Radio, Transatlantic messages and the 10 metres Ham Band.
Recently just silence, even with 15 metres external antenna 📡 attached.
Another thing, the Airband seems to be suspiciously silent. Even with a ladder-line antenna attached:nothing!
The AM/FM/MW bands are perfect!
I'm wondering if something could have burnt out, and would it be something that I could repair, myself.
If it is of any help, the Tecsun S-2000 is similar to the Grundig 750 and the Eton Elite 750.
Any helpful advice will be greatly appreciated.
