Thorens TD 126 MK2 Electronic engine failure

Hi.
I have a turntable that only works once in a while. The engine only starts up occasionally but when it does, there’s no problem running.
Also, when I turn on the power and the engine doesn’t start, it always twitches a little. What can be wrong?
