Hi,

Could anyone explain me or send a diagram explaining how this kind of supply works :

A LOK4801-2R can convert either 100-240V AC or 90-250V DC into 48VDC

After tearing down, i can see a bridge rectifier , a smps MOSFET, a plulse transformer

Any diagram to refer to ?

I only have a block diagram for it...

This is a universal PWM power supply that operates in a wide range of different voltages. It is essentially a DC/DC converter, which after AC filtering and rectification works from a DC power supply.
Its special feature is that the width modulation can adjust the voltages and currents of the output coil within a very large range.
Thus, it can practically work from 80-90 volt direct voltage, while higher voltages are not an obstacle with the minimal pwm switching time.
Remember, if the voltage is lower, the required current load will increase for the corresponding full load.
