Hi!
I have to interrupt again, I have a defective diode as shown in the picture from 1973 from the cassette deck. I did a lot of searching but couldn't find a similar one. And the service manual didn't help either.

Hi!
On the Technics RS-767US schematic ( https://elektrotanya.com/technics_rs-676us.pdf/download.html ) I found D301 but no D305. It is on page 23, on the bottom, connected to the base of Tr303. The PCB layout on page 59 looks almost identical to the photo you posted, so I assume that the circuit is the same, only the labels are different. There is a 19.2V label on the schematic at the zener diode. I believe you can use any 19V zener with 500mW or higher rating, for example 1N5249.

thank you very much, I will have to zoom in a lot in the future so that I can see better.

Hey!
thanks for the answers. It feels like I've gone blind or slept badly for a long time. it's Technics 676. Attached is a picture where the diode has been removed and marked with a white marker. I guess I'll have to start measuring more etc. was there a suitable diode for e.g. 22 volts.
Thanks a lot!

Please let us know the manufacturer and the type of this deck. I hope the diode function and value could be guessed from the schematic.

Perhaps a 22V zener diode.
