Yahama psr-E340 keyborad, No sound on internal speaker

I have a yahama psr E 340 that works when connected to a mixer or to an headphone jack but does not work with the internal speakers when the jack is removed form the keyboard. I have checked an confirmed that the speakers are working fine but no sound is coming out.
