I own a yamaha mt-120 4-track recorder that I was using fairly often up until a month ago to record my own songs and put them on the internet. The faders started making noise and cutting in and out, so, I took it apart and cleaned it all out with canned air. Unfortunately, I seemed to solve that problem, but, now the tapes play super slow on 4.8 and I have the Chipmunks on 9.5. I have struggled to figure it out myself after hrs. of working on it. I read on the internet that there might be a screw to turn to change the speed, but, I don't see one. The pitch control is right in the middle where it's always been. Does anyone know why the cassettes won't play at the proper speed now that I cleaned it?
Thank you - Brett
