Hi have a psr-gx76 for years, Recently the DC socket that holds the power jack has lost continuity. Also the jack housing wobbles. Is there a way to repair the housing or re-solder the housing to the base. Have looked the device over; seems like a lot of screws to remove. Will the cover release easily once the screws are removed.
Thank You,
Chuck

HI, I also have a Yamaha PSR GX76, and have the same problem, it's fine from working if I wiggle the jack, so not working at all now. I'm curious to know, did you find a solution?

Hi!
Yes, the connector housing can be replaced or resoldered, but the device needs to be disassembled carefully.
After removing all the screws, the cover can be taken off, but it may be held by clips, so you need to do it carefully to avoid breaking the plastic.
