Sony TC-800 speed issues

Does anyone have any knowledge of fixing my problem MY TWO SPEED MACHINE IS RUNNING ABOUT 20% SLOW ON BOTH SPEEDS. Ive tried the adjusting pots thropugh the access holes but on max its still too slow, HELP..JOHN
