Lisheng LH-380 Guitar Headphone Amplifier. The amplifier is not amplifying the signal from my mandolin. There is no sound coming out of the device.

Try removing the jack plug and touching the inner contact of the jack socket with a thin metal rod at maximum volume. If you hear any sound or a crackling sound, the amplifier is working and the problem is likely in the cable or the pickup.

Thank you for your response. The fact is that the amplifier lights comes on (green light...always has), especially now with a new battery. The problem is that is does not amplify any sound coming from my mandolin, it is totally mute.

Then you have to take the amplifier out of its box and check its operation. So I can't give any other advice from a distance.
