Hello,
the tester M890G shows a "1" and the units of the scale on screen
but doesn't measure anything at all,
do anyone know where I can start looking for the reason of the feailure?
Thanks
Hernan
1.Check the 200mV reference voltage on pin 36 of the ICL7106
2. Measure the voltage on pin 31. It should be between 0-200mV.This measured voltage appears on the display.
If the IC 31 pin is connected to GND, the display will show 0. If it does not change, the IC is faulty.
3.If the IC works, then check the mode selector switch, voltage divider resistors and operational amplifiers. In the wrong measurement mode, (such as voltage measurement in resistance measurement mode), the instrument will malfunction.
