Washburn bad dog amp no sound

I replaced a broken jack for the input on a washburn bad dog amp and I get a hum but no sound from the jack. No components seem burnt not sure what to check the jack measures the same as the other 2 on the posts so I don't think it's soldering

You maybe replaced with wrong jack input switch, 2types have a combined switch  with  socket. Normally open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC), when you plug in  then your switch now connect input to the ground (NO type)
